Fellow club members
As you may know, TVARC club callsign has a new SKCC number (24637).
I would like to get some volunteers to operate as K4VRC, in the upcoming
August 7th and 8th
weekend sprintathon -
https://skccgroup.com/operating_activities/weekend_sprintathon/Aug_wes.php

I have a page on my website - www.wb2art.com/SKCC - that is divided up into
time and band slots.
If you would like to sign up for a 2 hour slot(s), please email me. They
are available first come-first served.
This chart will avoid having 2 stations on the same band at the same time.
Your exchange (cw of course)
is RST FL TV [nr] 24637. The RST is self explanatory, FL is where we are,
'TV' is our SKCC 'name' and
24637 is our SKCC number. The [nr] is optional.

Any current club member is eligible to operate. If you happen to be in
another state, you must send the state
where your transmitter is located. You must provide me with a copy of your
log, in ADIF format.

SKCC is free to join. Just go to SKCCGroups.com and sign up. You can also
download the SKCCLogger if you
want to keep track of your progress towards awards.

You do not have to be an SKCC member to use the club's callsign, but you do
need to be a current member,
and have the proper time slot.

George K2DM has made his contest station available to club members on
Saturday, Aug 7th, from
10am till 6pm. There are 2 operating positions there, plus 3 towers for
bands 160-6. I do not think
160 or 80 will be an option. but there are plenty of other bands available.
You will need to bring your
own cw key. You must use a straight key, cootie, or bug to make contacts,
whether at home or at 'The Land'.

The chart has a darker yellow section that covers operations at 'The Land'.
