[TVARC] TVARC Unofficial Facebook Group

A Facebook group has been formed for casual conversation off the air among
group members, and prospective members. The club web site and the email
Reflector remain the official source of communication for the club, the
Facebook group is an ancillary forum for discussing subjects of interest to
the club's members outside of the ragchew net and other on the air
communications.

Among other things, it will allow for persistent conversations, where those
participating to not have to be there at a specific time, it makes it
easier to pass on URLs and other references that are difficult to convey
verbally, and it is a place where prospective licensees or others who are
not on the air can connect with those who are on the air to learn more
about getting on the air.

Posts of interesting articles, questions, events, shack photos, links into
the resources of our website, etc. are encouraged.

A Facebook account is required. Since the Facebook group is an unofficial
group, club membership is not required though we will limit membership to
local amateur radio licensees, prospective licensees, and others with
interests in common to those of the club.
