[TVARC] TVARC Needs Volunteers

We need your help!We have two upcoming activities that we need volunteers for.
First is for the Radio On The Square event at Lake Sumter Landing in November.We need to put a whole team together to assist in organizing and managing this important club event.After a year of pandemic-related restrictions, people are getting anxious to get out.November should be the perfect time for a public event to promote The Villages Amateur Radio Club.We need a few individuals to coordinate getting members to bring their equipment for the day.  We need people to operate throughout the day.  We need ambassadors to man tables out in front to talk to people and solicit new members or answer questions.  We need a team to help during setup and takedown.  We need a team to put up antennas. We need YOUR help.  We need someone to coordinate the event.  We need people to volunteer to work a few hours that day.  We need everything!!  PLEASE HELP OUT!!  Please volunteer for this event.  Email me your name so that we can begin to get going on this event soon.  Thanks for your help.Second, we also need volunteers for our upcoming Holiday Party on Thursday evening December 16th at Eisenhower Rec Center.  We have hired a great DJ already and we have committed to have the club provide the entrees.  We also have the "Punchbowl App"  which allows us to keep track of what everyone is bringing to this "pot-luck dinner" event, such as side dished, desserts, salads and the like.  We need volunteers to help organize this festive event.  We need people to coordinate the room decorations.  We need people to put together prizes to give away.  We also need help with clean-up.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
