[TVARC] Yaesu - FT 70DR programming

To all,

 

I am new to the club and am enrolled in the Tech exam class this summer.  I
purchased

a Yaesu - FT-70DR Transceiver and am having problems programming it.   From
the

attached photo you can see when I try to upload from the Radio to the Yaesu
website

I get the following error.  In reviewing others who have tried this before
most refer

me to get the RT software for $50.00.  Most could not get it to work
directly with

the website of instructions on youtube.

 

What is your recommendation?  Unless I am missing something maybe my only
option

Will be to spend the money?   Hopefully, if I do that, it will work?

 

Any assistance with this request will most appreciated.
