[TVARC] Congrats

Thanks all for the nice comments.  We had a grand time.  About 750 miles and Murphy only showed up now and then (all resolved).  But it’s a hoot dealing with huge pileups every time we crossed the county line.

 

The only TVARCers worked were Ralph, N8RW, and Bob, K3ZGA, right at the beginning of the contest while we were still in Sumter.  Oh, and we worked Marty, N4GL, when we were a few blocks from their place in Ocala.  I guess groundwaves do have their limits!

 

Good to see some nice scores from the home station guys – George, K2DM, and Rusty, W3US.  

 

And thanks to Wayne, N4FP, for inviting me and doing all the hard work getting the mobile ready.  He’s also a great op!  Also thanks to Marty, for hosting and feeding me.

Just want to give kudos to Wayne (N4FP) and Pete (K2PS) for their tremendous effort in the FL QSO Party this weekend. Almost 2000 Q's and over 1/2 million points in mobile cw trek !!!  

  

I worked them on 20 meters Sat on ground wave. After they left Sumter Co. I never heard them again. But apparently a lot of other ops did !! 

  

Again, well done gents!
