Hi Jeff,

I have done several VHF-UHF attic antennas for recieve on 30-1gig, and TX
on VHF thru 800mhz.  As long as you stay just a bit above the duct work,
and  1/4 wave or so way I would suggest.   I've had no issues. here.

Also if you have an air handler in the attic (motorized or any motorized
blend doors w/ electronics not really that common I dont think) I'd prob
keep away from those also.    No experience doing anything HF here on my
end in the attic..
