Hi Members of TVARC’s MailList,

During the recently held virtual ham radio convention, sponsored by “QSO Today,” a presentation covered the exciting, ongoing pioneering efforts to conduct Amateur Radio Classes and Exam sessions VIRTUALLY.  Of course, the primary, driving force behind these efforts is the desire to keep students and instructors safe from COVID-19 infections.

Below is a blurb from Dan R. (KB6NU) announcing his upcoming online (virtual) classes to help people get their General Class license.  So, if you’re interested, or know others that might be interested in such training, then you may want to check out KB6NU’s virtual class offering.

You can also do some Internet searches to locate other similar online offerings to help you study for your entry-level, or advance-level, amateur radio license.  So, technology and the ingenuity of fellow hams is providing virtual training opportunities, if you need them, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which makes in- person classes too dicey.
