Hello Steve and welcome back to HAM radio.
Doug, W9DAL, has a Greyline OCF antenna and has had nothing but problems getting it to work with high power as well as vendor issues. Doug is on this reflector, so he may jump in here.
That said, we both plan to build a Hustler 6BTV trap vertical inside a 3” i.d. PVC pipe (the flagpole). We are encouraged by a couple of other TVRC’ers who have done this. The downside of great vertical performance is the requirement for an extensive radial field. We don’t plan to skimp on that, but it will require a good deal of work. DX Engineering has a great article on construction of the Hustler series of verticals if you are interested: https://static.dxengineering.com/global/images/instructions/dxe-btv-inst-ins_oh.pdf <https://static.dxengineering.com/global/images/instructions/dxe-btv-inst-ins_oh.pdf>
Again welcome,
Rusty - W3US

Thus, I have neighbors on each side but no houses behind me. My front "yard" is nothing and I have no grass. No place for a flagpole in the front and there are others here who have flagpoles in their back patios areas.
