[TVARC] Flagpole Antenna Re-installed @ K4QR’s QTH

Hi Members of TVARC’s MailList,

Several weeks ago, my flagpole antenna was toppled (cracked at first joint) by a strong gust of wind during a thunderstorm.  A major contributing factor to this failure was the “Dura-Flex” flag that trapped and held water making the flag weigh a lot more than normal.

Just recently, after three (3) days of intense work, I’ve re-installed a new flagpole antenna.  See photo below/attached (assuming it survives the Maillist’s rules). So, now back to re-assembling the ham station.  Should be back on-the-air soon.
