Hi Members of TVARC’s MailList (especially those using Mac computers for ham apps),

Below you’ll find a link to a guide to help you get ham radio apps (for logging & The digital communications) setup and working under Apple’s Mac OS. This reference was recently touted on the “MacLoggerDX” Google Group. WR5E authored this guide.

> The Mac-Based Amateur Radio Digital Applications, ver. 0.99, guide is an
> update capturing the issues and their resolutions for MLDX and the digital
> applications (i.e.: WSJT-X and fldigi) after transitioning to MacOS 11.0
> Big Sur from from MacOS 10.15.7 Catalina several days ago. The guide's
> areas impacted due to differences between the MacOS versions are
> highlighted along with the details. The guide should remain quite relevant
> to those staying with MacOS 10.15.7 Catalina (and even prior MacOS
> versions), and with those now using MacOS 11.0 Big Sur.
>
> There was a bit hesitation in making the transition over to Big Sur, but
> that "leap of faith" was finally taken late Tuesday evening (the 24th).
>
> As before, if you have some time for taking a look or even reviewing the
> guide, then your comments, concerns, recommendations, and/or feedback will
> be appreciated
