He served as an officer for a year, and he volunteered to coordinate Radio on the Square, even when he was brand new to the club. He had a way of engaging members and encouraging participation. Tom was a fixture at club meetings and events, including Radio Rodeo, Radio on the Square, the MS Walk, QCWA brunch, nets and Chicken Chompers (a weekly gathering at Chick-fil-A). He had an endearing, quirky sense of humor and was always ready with a story.
