Congrats to all that operated this weekend. Looks like some really nice
scores.
Was it me, or did the bands sound "quiet" in spite of the Solar Flux Index
being above 90, and the Sun Spot number over 30. Was there some kind of
solar flare (or storm) causing a partial blackout? I was looking on various
websites, with none indicating anything unusual. I would have thought that
with those indexes as high as it was for the new Solar Cycle 25, there
should have been just lots more activity.
I was 100% S&P, only because with the length of the exchange I don't have
the confidence in myself to copy at the high speeds everyone was going at.
Thus my low QSO count/time operated was because I frequently copied the
exchange from a station before I called him, and only needed his number to
me.
