[TVARC] Elecraft Amplifier mentoring

Rich, I recently bought a RigExpert AA-600 (at recommendation of a fellow Ham) and I love it.  It has graphing, memory and ability to interface with computer. Still have an Auteck VA1 which is much cheaper but not near as versatile or as wide a range.

Hi Elecraft users,

After a month and a half production delay due to the shutdown I finally received my Elecraft KPA500 amplifier.  In 45 years of hamming I’ve never used an external HF amplifier and up until a few months ago never used a remote antenna tuner so this is all new to me.  I have it all cabled up and have tried some initial tests but am getting REFL HI faults that I can’t explain.  Is someone that has experience with Elecraft amplifiers available to come by my station and do some mentoring on its use?  If you also have an antenna analyzer that you can bring along to validate my SWR that might also be helpful.  I will be shopping for an antenna analyzer in the near future so recommendations are welcome.  I’m down south in the Fenney area.
