[TVARC] Zoom practice meeting notice

Clubmates,

This email is for those members of TVARC who have not used Zoom before.  It is an invitation to join a practice Zoom meeting.  If you have downloaded Zoom to your smart phone, laptop or desktop, and you have a camera, microphone and speakers, all you have to do is to click on the link below (right under where it says Join Zoom Meeting), and follow prompts.
  If Zoom asks for your name, please enter your first name and call sign.
  When you are asked to choose between ‘Phone call’ and ‘Computer Audio’ select Computer Audio.
  Click on the link ‘Test Computer Mic & Speakers’ and follow the prompts.  With any luck, you will be able to hear and be heard.
  Click ‘Join Audio Conference by Computer’.
  You will be placed in a ‘waiting room’.  When I see your name in the waiting room, I will add you to the meeting.

You can actually click the link to join the meeting many minutes before the actual meeting start.  So get started 10-15 minutes before the meeting.

Finally, please send me an email if you plan to join the practice meeting so I can set my expectations for attendance.
