[TVARC] May 21st TVARC General Meeting

Hello fellow club members.  I hope your self-isolating is going well, and that those of you who are starting to go out are doing so safely.

The status of the opening of the Recreation Centers in TV is such that we cannot have a face-to-face club meeting yet.  Instead, the Board of Directors of TVARC has decided to hold the May club meeting via Zoom on May 21.  We will present our usual meeting slides, but, sadly, there will be no Elmer hour, no cookies or drinks and no 50/50 drawing.

Many club members are familiar with using Zoom, but it is likely that many are not.  So, I plan to take steps to help those who have never used Zoom learn to enough to join, and I hope enjoy, the meeting.

1.  Within a couple of days I will send out a link to a video that explains, step by step, how to join a Zoom meeting.
2. A couple of days later I will set up a practice meeting for Zoom newbies to join in order to gain experience.

A few days before the actual club meeting I will send out a meeting invitation that contains the link to the meeting, and I will include additional instructions for joining the meeting.

Throughout this process I request that we all be patient!
