[TVARC] Contest University

It’s exciting to see an increasing number of Villagers interested in Ham Radio contests.  Kudos to those participants for elevating TVARC into the domain of serious contesting.

For those not into contesting - why not give it a try?

Whether a “Big Gun” or “Little Pistol” everyone, novice to seasoned can learn something from Contest University.  This “pay to play” course is offered every year at major Hamventions, such as Dayton and IDXC in Visalia.  With the cancellation of these major events, Contest University has graciously offered free sessions via zoom at 08:45 EDT 14 May.

I attended a few years ago at the IDXC and, believe me, there is always something new to learn.  Not only that, simply being in the presence of contesting greats like K3LR, N0AX, K5ZD, and W3LPL is both humbling and inspiring.
