Hi All,

Here is my score for this past weekend.

My head was not into it for some reason. No sun spots for the last two weeks
and the solar flux below 70 making it less than marginal conditions. The
noise and stress were freaking me out this past weekend. Maybe it's the
being cooped up that was driving me crazy.

I think I prefer digital, and dare I say, CW for contesting modes.

Improvements made from the week before? I replaced the worm gear clamps that
I was using to hold the (flag pole) antenna sections together with a better
quality stainless steel clamps. I also replaced the same cheap clamps on
both ground rods with some super quality copper ground rod clamps. I noted
that one of the old clamps came apart as I was loosening it, indicating that
the station ground was probably suspect prior to this weekend.

I actually had one run on 15m of a whole 11 minutes, logging 12 Qs. What a
time to get on a roll, and then XYL called me for dinner. Ughh. I tried like
H*** on 10m, but only heard one station (from Tx) on Sunday. Logged him, and
then spent the next 20 minutes calling CQ thinking and hoping there was an
opening. No such luck.
