Awesome!  And welcome back to the fray.  Now you can start to wonder how
well a 5' by 7' ground screen would do J.

 

That is a lot of BITC time for you.  Maybe I should have done this contest
instead of Russian DX.  Seems as if there was a lot of activity on RTTY.

I spent as much time as the XYL and I can arrange with all the free time we
had this weekend.

Newly erected Flag Pole antenna using some lessons learned from my old
Villages installation. I went from a little 2'x 3' ground screen which is
all the room I had in the rock bed I had the antenna mounted in; to a 4' x
6' ground screen. Results were immediately seen as a vast improvement. Among
other things, previously I was only able to run my KPA500 with about
350watts output. I was able to get a solid 500+ this go 'round and on all
bands. Too band I never saw an opening on 10m, and very little activity on
15m.
