[TVARC] Field Day

This was my first effort working in Field Day by myself. My Elmer George K2DM set me up to work FT8 using low power and set me up on VHF/UHF FM. I decided to call CQ on FT8 because it was too hard to get through to others calling CQ. I also called CQ on FM or answered when I heard others calling. It was fun talking to club members, especially the XYLs. 
I was on for 12 hours...7 on Saturday and 5 on Sunday. I sat on the couch watching TV while operating FT8 on my laptop and ran into the shack to operate on FM. 
I took it at a leisurely pace and had a blast!
