Thanks much for the help. I downloaded EchoMac, and though it appears almost identical to EchoHam, I was able to make a connection to ECHOTEST and K4VRC-R. Success! I fired up EchoHam and ignoring the UDP 5198/5199 errors connected to K4VRC. Success again. I tried Echolink under my Windows emulator, but no joy. Baby steps. Thanks again everyone. We’ll figure this out.

I see that most, if not all of the attempted connections with Echoham say either “connection rejected” or “disconnected”. I think the later is a timeout issue. I did up the connect time to 30s with no success.

I attempted connection to greater than 20 and just worked my way down the list until I was successful. Again, no ability to connect to VRC with Echoham.

I connect to servers okay, but consistently fail to receive packets on UDP ports 5198 and 5199. I don’t believe the problem to be with my router as I successfully connected via router using my iPhone last Monday. I have turned off Mac and Windows firewalls as well as disabled Norton's firewall with no joy.
