[TVARC] EchoHam/EchoLink on a Mac

Just a train of thought here Rusty-
If port forwarding works with your iPhone, then UDP packets are being directed to the iPhone’s IP address. No other device is going to work unless the computer is forced to the address the iPhone had.
Port triggering is an option that, if used will forward the packets to the address the router has determined is the most likely address to have requested the data.
This service (port triggering) allows multiple computers to use the application- although, not at the same time, I don’t believe.
Hope this helps.

I connect to servers okay, but consistently fail to receive packets on UDP ports 5198 and 5199. I don’t believe the problem to be with my router as I successfully connected via router using my iPhone last Monday. I have turned off Mac and Windows firewalls as well as disabled Norton's firewall with no joy.
