Regarding a 160 balloon antenna, I floated (no pun intended) the idea a
while back on this site.  I had proposed getting permission to use the
field north of the Polo fields and before the village houses.  I was told
that Morse allows a group to use the field for kite flying so it was a no
go.  (I have yet to see anyone flying a kite, or even walking out in the
field.)

If kite flying really is allowed, why not a BIG kite with an appropriate
length of wire as part of the line to be launched during contests for
160?
