[TVARC] K2TE, SARTG WW RTTY Contest

I spent just a few hours in this one.  Rather odd contest with three,
12-hour segments that were not contiguous.  I spent the whole time on 20
meters since there did not seem to be a lot of participation, at least
when I was operating.  Total haul: 43 QSOs.

I had a strange issue with the K3 during the contest.  I run AFSK-A
rather than FSK since I don't have an interface to work with FSK.  If I
manually tune to a station, everything is fine, i.e. I stay in AFSK-A
mode.  However, if I click on a bandmap spot in N1MM+, the mode changes
to FSK.  I discovered this when transmitting and heard a steady carrier. 
I had to re-select AFSK-A on the K3 for it to work.  The same problem
occurs when I restart N1MM+ and the digital window has loaded.  I checked
the K3 manual and there is no RTTY default mode that would force the FSK
mode.

I used the latest N1MM+ update from a week ago.  

Any of you K3 folks observe this kind of behavior?
