It's the big Florida QSO Party weekend coming up on Saturday!

This is our chance to turn our little pistols into big QSO machines.
Everyone out there will want to talk to us, either on CW or Phone, and it's
our job to give them a way to do just that.

I encourage everyone here to compete as The Villages Amateur Radio Club.
The FQP rules encourage Florida stations to compete with our local club, not
the Florida Contest Group, which sponsors the QSO Party.

Here's a link to the rules: https://floridaqsoparty.org/rules/

This year there will not be any mobile stations (Wayne, N4FP, and I will
have to suffer from home), given the stay-at-home edicts.

Note the suggested frequencies, because that's where you'll find all those
stations eager to work us. Also, there is no exclusive mobile window as in
years past.

The contest runs in two ten-hour segments, starting on Saturday at noon, and
running through 10P, and then again on Sunday, from 8A until 6P.

Call CQ as something like CQ FQP de K2PS/SUM. The SUM is for Sumter county,
use /LAK for Lake, and /MAO for Marion. Stations outside of Florida will be
calling CQ FL.

Hope to hear you on!

73, Pete, K2PS
