[TVARC] Flagpole Antenna Advice

Hi Members of TVARC’s Maillist,

If you are interested in erecting a flagpole antenna in The Villages, be
sure to consult the resources available on TVARC’s website.  In particular,
be sure to consult a prior presentation to the club at this URL:

Be sure you *FILE the application* to The Villages Architectural Review
Committee! You may not realize what easements abut/cross your property and
the Florida statute allowing the display of the American flag on flagpoles
(overriding restrictive covenants) EXPRESSLY states that the flagpole must
not entrench on a public easement.  So, do NOT skip this
application/approval step.  I believe a sample copy of the form is included
in the above referenced URL.

Anyone seeking more details about the construction of the flagpole antenna
designed by John/NP2B (a member of our club), which has been implemented by
