Glad everyone has been enjoying six meters. It has been fun! With my 40 meter delta loop, tuned on six, I worked the following, half on CW and half on FT8: TX – IL – LA – IA – AL – MS – KS – TX – FL – Ontario – Mexico – Guatemala and Cuba Think this will last?! 73, Bob, K3ZGA Sent from Mail for Windows 10 From: n4fp.wayneSent: Tuesday, April 14, 2020 8:23 PMTo: Dennis McKinney; villages reflector; n4fp.wayne at gmail.comSubject: Re: [TVARC] 6m cw Okay, after hearing that six has started to be open after many years, I got motivated and put up a dipole at about 40 feet, facing N-S. Strongest signal on the band was a guy in MN running KW+ to a 10 element beam. He came right back to me with an ok report for my 100 watts. So, I guess the antenna is working. My first 6 meter contact in many years. I hear beacons from all over. Thanks for the heads up and I expect to mainly work CW, some ssb, and perhaps some FT8. 73, Wayne N4FP Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone -------- Original message --------From: Dennis McKinney <n0smx2 at gmail.com> Date: 4/14/20 10:37 (GMT-05:00) To: villages reflector <tvarc at mailman.qth.net> Subject: [TVARC] 6m cw TG9AFX 50.093 CW loud at 10:36 / 14:36z Dennis N0SMX TVARC mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/tvarcHelp: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:TVARC at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
