Nice! I started to set up for the contest after I got home from golf, went
to N1MM to look for the contest, couldn't find it in the list, and just
decided I didn't really want to spend the time.
I think the last FT8 contest had similar rules about the frequency which
everyone ignored.
Glad you did!

Subject: [TVARC] ND4G results for the FT8 DX Contest SOAB-LP
Hello All,
Well, this was an interesting contest. The new antenna is working out very
nicely and is performing beyond expectations.
The local car club up here had a "drive" last night (Saturday) with everyone
was staying in their cars, thus maintaining the social distancing rule.
Alas, I didn't know about the drive because the announcement didn't go out
via Email until earlier in the day Saturday, and I was head strong into the
FT8 contest; not reading, or checking Emails. If I had known about the
drive, I would have seriously considered going as being during and a part of
my dinner break anyway.
Back to the contest. . . . I found there were many participants that didn't
read the rules and tried replying to me on my Frequency. The part that
really bugged me was when the station would then opt to put out a CQ on my
Run Frequency after completing our QSO. What nerve!!!
I kept checking 10 meters, but nothing heard. Put out a couple of CQs with
no replies. 15 meters was so-so, but lots of QSB, and on several occasions I
had a station that was +5 dropping to -15 in half a heartbeat, or completely
disappeared without completing the QSO.
Looking forward to Solar Cycle 25. Bring it on!!!
