Apparently the issue is intermittent. Sometimes it will accept uploads and suddenly stop. Since there is a timeout on the connection, it is possible the problem is caused by nothing more the number of log-ins at their website. 
My system uploads each QSO as soon as it is logged. That means I am only doing one at a time (usually). Therefore a connection timeout seems to be the more likely issue. Too many hams staying at home and filling up the bands!!
