[TVARC] COME JOIN THE FUN! It's "Radio On The Square" Time Again!

                                    Please Signup for "Radio On The Square - 2019!"



                                          


Dear Fellow TVARC Members:

Please come join the fun at The Villages Amateur Radio Club's (TVARC) annual “Radio on the Square” (ROS).  ROS is offered every year on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving. 
This year the date is November 30, 2019.

“ROS” is held on Sumter Landing’s Market Square in The Villages, Florida.  The “Club” enjoys operating and just meeting folks from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM on the bandstand and around the square. “ROS” is a great public education event highlighting the evolvement of Amateur Radio in our community before, during and after emergencies and natural disasters.

• This year we will repeat our “Morse Code Clinic” for children and adults alike.
• We will also send Radiograms to family members around the world.
• Handout Brochures and Information about Amateur Radio.
• Hopefully sign up a dozen, or more, students for our “Technician Class” held every year. 
• We also have numerous “Hams” running radio operation demonstrations on and around the bandstand.
