Many of you know Bob, N4BP who is a well-known DXer and contester.  I
find his problems bizarre but hilarious.  This is an "I told you so"
testament for those who insist on running maximum power, tuned antennas
or not, hi.

Many years ago when I lived in Miramar, one of my neighbors complained 
that she was hearing me on her toaster.  Since this woman was a real nut 
case, I didn't pay it any notice - but maybe should have.

Shortly after moving to Plantation, Juli came in the shack to tell me 
she was hearing me on the toilet.  Sure enough, beaconing a CQ on 15M CW 
came through clearly on the back bathroom toilet.  Investigation showed 
that the sprinklers were using my RF to turn themselves on and off.  The 
quick change in water pressure was causing the toilet flapper valve to 
bounce and sing CW.

Fast forward to this morning.  I was on 17M FT8 and kept hearing a faint 
tone from outside the shack.  My RF was getting into the kitchen stove!
The stove electronics was sending a steady tone for the 15 seconds I 
transmitted, and then sent four beeps when I stopped.
Like a very QRS/QLF number 6.

Not looking for a fix, not sure if there even is one since I can't 
easily get into the stove's electronics.  And it's kind of difficult to 
keep RF out of the house when the antenna is only about eight feet off 
the ground and about twenty feet from the shack window.

Just makes for an interesting addition to the RFI saga..
