New to The Villages and still in the “flagpole exploration” stage, so I thought “why not break out the mobile and give our VP2 boys a couple of contacts”?
The gang at VP2MDM are very proficient, so it was no problem hearing and working them.  
But, then the competitive juices kicked in and I found myself with 16 hours of operating time cramped in the front seat of a pickup truck.  At least the seat is leather.  :-)
