Dear TVARC Members
I did not officially participate in this weekend’s contest, because I am not a contester. However, I did get on the radio about an hour each, Saturday and Sunday as an “enabler”, helping the other guy get his points.
I was able to make the following DX contacts on 20M, SSB Phone, 500W:

HC0E        Equador
VP2MMF  Montserrat
V31VP      Belize
PJ0DX      St. Maarten
HP3SS.    Panama
TG9ANF.  Guatemala
KP2M.      St. Croix
CR6K.      Portugal
IB9A.        Sicily (Italy)
NP2P.       US Virgin Is.
IR4X.        Italy
V31VP.     Belize
PJ4B.       Bonaire
CR6T.      Portugal

In addition I made the following contacts on  15M, SSB Phone, 100W:

PJ4G.       Bonaire
PJ2T.       Curacao
CR6T.      Portugal

 In the process I found out that my vertical, although having a poor enough SWR, after tune, at 15 M to kick out my amp, will get out enough signal to get DX at 100W.

BTW, I am back on my feet after having had open heart surgery on the 19th, plus a 9 day hospital stay.
