[TVARC] Field Day Update

Field Day is on and some volunteers have come forward.
We will be having two operating stations: one 80-10M, primarily operating SSB and one 80-10M primarily operating FT8.

Earle Hancock, W1IPN, has volunteered his ICOM IC-7300 equipment and this will be utilized for the SSB station using the tribune with 40M add-on and an 80M dipole. Thank you very much Earle. This station will operate at 500W due to the generous offer from George, K2DM, to provide his KPA500/KAT500 Amplifier/Tuner.

The second station will use the club’s Kenwood TS-450S, running 100W, into a G5RV, for FT8 on 80-10M.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Field Day site - located in the same place as last year. We will be at the SW corner of CR466 and Morse Blvd, behind the Sumter County Sheriff’s office.

Don’t forget to come and help with the setup on Friday afternoon and takedown Sunday afternoon and especially with the operating.
