[TVARC] End fed antennas

You could investigate the MFJ - 1982 80-10M end fed long wire antenna. It comes in 3 power versions (HP, MP, and LP). Also the MFJ-1984 40-10M end fed long wire antenna. It also comes on 3 power versions. 
I have no practical experience but my brother, KA1CD, in MA has been using it for at least 6 months and is very happy with it.
