Nice going, Wayne.  Glad to see that you are OK enough to make the effort.  I know Peter appreciated the contact.  Too bad you couldn’t work Jeff, who was on Saturday night from Svalbard.  Of course, I think he only worked one NA station.

Still in recovery mode from my back surgery but just had to try CQ 160 CW for a short time.  AL-80B was putting out 700 watts to my inverted L and I'm satisfied with the results.  Was pleased to work Hawaii Sunday about 5 am local, first for me on 160.  Ran for a while and had European stations  calling me.  I was amazed at how quiet the noise was.  I was using the L for receiving also.  Much better than when I was using 38 ft vertical attached to my flagpole in The Villages.

I was.also pleased to work George's  brother Peter, K3ZM, who is in VA.
