[TVARC] TVARC Contesting

Attached is an update to the list of recommended contests for The Villages Amateur Radio Club.
Keep in mind, this is only a preliminary list of recommended contests and certainly does not preclude anyone from entering other contests. As an example, a few of us participated in this past weekends RTTY contest - North American QSO Party RTTY.
If you participate in any contest, we only ask that you post your score on 3830 and include the club contest group name - The Villages Amateur Radio Club (spelled out fully as here). 
The next contest coming up and shown on the attached list is the ARRL International DX SSB contest starting Mar 2. A link to the website is provided in the attached list.
Give it a try. As Villagers, I know we are not the big guns but it is a great opportunity to get some good dx. DX stations can only contact US/Canada stations and vice versa. For some of us ‘digital hams’ it might bring back memories of the ‘good ol days’!!! And remember, even if you get on late in the contest, you are likely to be sought after since you are not a DUPE!!!!
