[TVARC] Ten Meters

This weekend, starting at 7P local, is the ARRL 10 Meter Contest.  And yes,
I know, ten meters is dead.  But surprisingly, when this contest rolls
around, openings somehow occur.  Last year, for Instance, I made about a
third of my total QSOs in the first four hours of the contest, on a band
that is typically open only during daylight hours.  So I encourage all you
TVARCers to get on and give it a try.

 

I'll be operating CW and SSB (but mostly CW, since you get double the number
of points/QSO).  I have my four element yagi up around 25-30 feet, towering
over Morse Blvd, to be taken down Monday L.  I'll be looking for fellow
TVARCers, and I encourage you all to get on and submit a score, and perhaps
we can win the Local Club competition.
