Steve,

Did you mean the computer stopped, or you stopped clicking on the call
received?  If you clicked on the CQ (green highlighted call), you should
notice your rig switching to transmit and the slide bar on the lower
right of WSJT-X moving to the right until it reaches 13 +/- second at
which point the program switches back to receive.  If the station answers
you, your call will be red and show his report to you.  The program
immediately begins transmitting your report back to the station.  You
will then get an "R73" or "73" in red.  Finally, you will then send a
"73" to end the contact.  If WSJT-X is set up for automatic logging, you
will get a drop-down window with the log summary for you to verify.  The
computer is doing all the work after the station calls you so your
initial click does it all.  There are times when your computer will
repeat your report to the station due to fading on his end, or another
station clobbering you when you are transmitting.  Not every call is
successful, just like the old-fashioned CW or SSB stuff, hi.
