Just spent a few hours beating my head against the wall, trying to work and
hear all the weak signals.  Conditions, at least for the time I operated,
were pretty bad.  No activity heard at all on 15, and so I didn't even
bother to listen on 10 meters.  This contest limits stations to a max of
100W, and so if conditions are as they were, it makes for tough going.  It
also didn't help that I was running about 30 watts for the first hour -
until I realized that, since I had the amp off, I needed to crank up the
power on the IC-7610!  That helped a little, and I did manage to run
stations for a bit, but SSB is tough for our antennas.
