Hmmm...I think just acknowledgement of reception is sufficient. A signal report is only one way to do that. Correct receipt of callsign, name, and state is another, I should think.

I too played around in it - just to keep my minimal CQ capabilities in training. In ½ hour of operation, 30 Qs and about 20 Ms.
was just doing it for fun and practice. Hmmm, here is a question - sine no sig report is exchanged, they can’t be considered valid Qs with ARRL - correct?
