Just to be clear, those foreign (alien) stations DO NOT count for the TVARC DXCC.

Well, part of it DID turn out to be aliens!! Looking closely, you can see that my display width was about 1MHz. I was actually looking at the upper portion of the AM Radio Station Band. Each spectral peak was another AM Radio Station. Some were foreign (aka alien) and some domestic.
When I had switched over to 160M I forgot that my freq span on the spectral display was from -500KHz to +500KHz around my center freq.
strange how much different things can appear in the frequency domain!!
