I never worked Tom, VR6TC but I did work Brian, VR6BX several times in
1991 and 1993.  I think the Young clan is also decended from the Bounty
mutineers.

I worked VP6DX when they activated the inaugural DXpedition to Ducie
Island.  It was a showcase for Elecraft since the company gave the crew
several prototype 100W K3 rigs.  What sold everyone was the fact that
they could operate less than 50 kHz apart on the same band and not bother
each other.  They had such a good setup I even worked them on 160 SSB (!)
during the CQ WW 160 SSB contest.  This is one that brings out all the
masochists, hi.
