Good effort, considering the forces arrayed against you!
Those ex-Yugos must have some impressive antennas. And the Italians do
incredibly with their 300 watt stations.

Comments:
I must have been running on adrenaline all weekend. After I got home from
RoS, the XYL told me we were first going out playing cards that evening.
Once I got home, I put in one hour for the contest. Sunday was the day I was
finally going to play. I found conditions not as bad as I had expected, and
made a few contacts. 9A1A, several S5's, and a few other regulars in that
neck of the woods are always there. I have stated to some newbies when
explaining contesting, the mere act of turning on your radio is the amount
of effort needed to work those guys in the old Yugoslavia area.
Also, worked N1MM for a multipier.
Never heard a thing on 10m. I was checking almost hourly on Sunday.
As for the adrenaline rush, I think I slept like a log Sunday night through
Monday morning.
