[TVARC] Battery operation

Good evening all,
	I am planning to build (really assemble) a go box for VHF/UHF and HF radios.
	The specs for the HF (Icom 7300) call for 21ah in transmit and .9ah in standby.
	I figure transmit time of approximately 30%. So 1 hour of operation would seem to call for 7 to 10 ah transmit and approximately .6ah in standby for a total each hour of operation of 8 to 12ah. In 24 hours (the goal with out any charging) that’s 288 ah.
	The specs for the Yaesu 400 call for 10ah in transmit and .5ah in standby. Again estimating 30% transmit time that’s 3 to 4ah transmit for every hour of operation. In standby it works out to less than .3 ah. In 24 hours (again the goal) thats 104ah. All math is rounded up, again figuring safety margin.
	I would appear that I need to have a battery that would handle 392ah to handle a period of 24 hours.
	If, by some weird chance, I have calculated correctly, and again figuring in a safety margin, I need a battery with a 500ah rating or better.
	Your thoughts?

	BTW: if I am correct I believe I should be awarded an honerary extra license.
