Conditions were atrocious once again. I heard George a couple of times. Even
talked to him once (without logging the Q).
Sam and Tony were all over the band, as I heard them a couple of times as
well. And, I even heard Karen making a contact.
I worked really hard for those 3 - 10meter contacts. I must have missed the
opening. I had to shut down in the early part of the afternoon.
These nightly outings the XYL keeps planning for us during contest weekends
have got to stop. Hopefully time and conditions will be better in two weeks
for the WPX. With my call, I should be able to sit on a freq and give out
multipliers to the world.
I still am having tuning issues on 75-80 meters. Don, W1EJM even came out
and ran his analyzer program on my antenna a couple of weeks ago. After some
consideration, all I needed to do was to trim the wire about 7 feet. I did;
and still no joy. :-(

Rich, ND4G
