[TVARC] 13 Colonies Special Event (July 1 - July 8, 2018 UTC)

Hi Members of TVARC's Maillist,

The annual "Original 13 Colonies" special event is coming up.  It provides
a way to celebrate the USA's Independence Day using your amateur radio
skills!

So, take some time out from the stress of your quest to break through the
huge pile-ups seeking to work the Baker Island DXpedition.  Relax a bit
(throw some bratwurst on the grill) and devote some time to working as many
of the designated, special event stations scattered across the states that
once comprised our nation's thirteen colonies.

13 Colonies Special Event to Mark 10th Anniversary this Year

The annual Original 13 Colonies Special Event will mark its 10th
anniversary this year. The event gets under way on July 1 at 1300 UTC and
runs through July 8 at 0400 UTC.
