[TVARC] KB8SB's (Sam) June 2018 ARRL VHF Contest "Brag" Results

Following are the results of my participation in last weekends ARRL VHF Contest.  I had a great time during the few hours I participated and do look forward to future contests.  I used an end fed antenna that is broadside to the N & S and with it was able to make the 26 contacts listed in my report below.  Not much to brag about but they did include 5 new states contacted from The Villages for 2018.  I now have 22 of the 50 states so I have a lot of work to do in the next 6 months.  The only Villager I heard and worked was Pete (K2PS).  Glad to have been one of his many Q's.

Comments:

Had fun during the short time I was on the air even with the poor conditions. Station consisted of an IC-7000 with a LDG IT-100 Autotuner and a 9:1 UN-UN End Fed 6-40 mtr Antenna on the roof of our home.  For the next VHF contest I hope to use a 6 mtr loop ant I have but not yet up.
