Hi Members of TVARC's Maillist/Reflector,

The Italian Amateur Radio Association (ARI; Fidenza Radio Club) is
sponsoring a year-long special operating event called "Science Milestones
in the History of Radio." Special commemorative ham radio stations (with a
distinctive call sign) will be on the air featuring an individual who made
a substantial contribution to wireless communication. For example, during
January 2018, a station (call sign II4MXW) will be on-the-air to honor
James Clerk Maxwell's contributions.

For more information about this exciting year-long, special event, read the
ARRL e-News, dated November 11, 2017, at these URLs:

Note: You may have to tell your Internet browser software to translate
those webpages to English if they initially come up in Italian.

Enjoy participating in this unique commemorative event during 2018!
