[TVARC] FT8 LOTW Question

Since FT8 v2.0 I've been getting a message regarding the inability to fetch
the lotw-user-activity.csv file.  I ultimately downloaded the file using a
link from the WSJT v2.0 Quick Start page.  Upon inspecting it, I see that it
is a spreadsheet listing, I think, every LOTW user and the last update each
had made to LOTW.

 

What is this used for?  BTW, I don't use JTAlert, nor do I use one of the
logging programs that interfaces directly with WSJT.
