Actually, I had been using the K3WW node, from my FRC days, kind of just
like Ed with YCCC.  But Chas is giving that up, so now I'll use the VE7CC
setup for contests if I ever go assisted.  And yes, you can run any cluster
with N1MM.

I use the K1TTT cluster out of MA.  Dave's node is very reliable and
supports filters for spot sources.  I have it filtered to reject spots
from the "left coast".  I tried a local node (WD4IXD) when I moved here
but I was not able to filter out spots from DX stations.

As for taxing your brain, is that why you wear the weird hat?  To protect
the vacuum?

(I agree with you regarding Windows.  It can lead to an early death by
frustration.)
